Loganberry News October 2019

Who= needs Oktoberfest when we've got Octavofest?

Octavofest is a Cleveland-wide celebration of the book held every October, punnin= g off the word octavo, the word for a standard bo= ok size. Everything we do here at Loganberry is a celebration of the book= , but this is a particularly rich month. First, there's the Heartland Fall Forum, a regional bookseller trade show happeni= ng here in Cleveland. Then, there's the NOBS Clevelan= d Antiquarian Book and Print Fair, with a special reception here at L= oganberry. Also, there's the Cleveland Drafts Festival= happening here on Larchmere, as well as our usual events, book signi= ngs and discussion groups. And then, if that wasn't enough, we close the = month out with our Haunted Bookshop, named after = Christopher Morley's beloved classic The Haunted Bookshop, = and featuring literary characters this year from L. Frank Baum, Robert Lo= uis Stevenson, and Margaret Atwood. A celebration indeed!

PS: Starting this month, you can click on (almost) any title mentioned in the newsle= tter and link straight to our online store to pur= chase the book from (and show your love for) Loganberry. You can= arrange to have it put on hold here in the store or shipped to you anywh= ere in country!
