This email is to update you regarding Author Alley this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. We are excited that all of you have decided to attend! It looks as though Mother Nature might not be cooperative; the forecast calls for rain on Saturday. Therefore, for the first time in recent memory, we'll be moving Author Alley indoors. The good news is that everything on your end remains the same. We simply ask that you arrive between 11 a.m. and noon on the day of the event. You need not bring any additional copies of your books, as they should be at Loganberry already. (If you are a self-published or small press author and you haven't made arrangements for your books to be here by Saturday, please do get in touch either via email to carmen@logan.com or by calling 216-795-9800 so we can finalize arrangements for receiving your books.) When you arrive at the event, you'll head indoors to find your seating assignment. Each table will have placards with your names and your books on them. We'll handle tables, chairs, and book setup, so you don't need to worry about any of this. If you have any additional promotional materials such as bookmarks or postcards, you can set them up when you arrive. At the end of the day, we'll ask that you speak with a staff member before leaving so we can count any books you may be taking home with you, and have you sign the copies that we'll be keeping for stock. Regarding parking, we are unable to use our normal venue due to a scheduling conflict. Therefore, we encourage you to arrive early and find parking nearby. On-street parking normally fills up very quickly, therefore we suggest that you park at one of the nearby venues with a parking lot: Fairhill Partners, Our Lady of Peace, or Life Skills of Northeast Ohio.
