The Larchmere Holiday Stroll has been our kick-off to the holiday season for 49 years, so not even a pandemic can completely stop it. Otis' Old Curiosity Shop, Loganberry's popular holiday pop-up shop, is stocked full of local artists’ work, heartwarming crafts, books and cards, tchotchkes sweet & snarky, and tons of toys both entertaining and educational. There’s no live entertainment this year, but the trees are decorated, and we miss you. We'll have more offerings for sale on our website than ever before--including tchotchkes, gifts, and games--so you can shop local for the holidays without ever leaving home! We'll also have quizzes and an "ask the bookseller" time on Instagram and Facebook Stories to help with your trickiest gift-giving questions without your even having to leave the house. Loganberry Books Holiday Open House is a cherished annual tradition that we're excited to keep offering, albeit with a few pandemic adjustments. As always, for our Open House Event, Loganberry Perk Members will get 10% off regularly priced books. Otis’s Curiosity Shop will be fully stocked with art, gifts, and games for your perusal. While we won't have refreshments or live entertainment this year, we're excited about the new addition this year of a Gift Tree, loaded with books and other gifts for each and every person who comes into the store--no purchase required. • 10am-11am reserved for immuno-compromised and senior customers
• Face-coverings required at all times
• Minimum spacing of 6 feet between people
• Limited to 25 people in the store at any time, and 3 people per alcove or seating area
• We will not be buying used books from the public for the rest of this year. Special collections, estates, or rare books may contact book buyer Brenda (brenda@logan.com) directly to assess potential interest.
