Loganberry News December 2024 |
Why did the turkey cross the road? To get to Loganberry Books, of course! Happy Holidays, friends, for whatever winter holidays you may celebrate.
We have our usual bookish events coming up, like Broadsides & Ephemera and various book clubs, plus annual special celebrations like the Larchmere Holiday Stroll and Jolabokaflod, and a once-a-decade anniversary extravaganza (which is a 12-hour party, read on). Even if you can’t attend in person, we hope you’ll contribute a line & a link in our paper chain o’wishes! Otis’ Old Curiosity Shop is in full swing now, and even without Otis (RIP) it may be our best yet!
Read on for our staff holiday picks (there’s a book for everyone on your list), and our annual Gift Ideas from the Sanctuary will follow in a couple weeks. We’ve added Friday evenings to our holiday hours, so we’re open 7 days a week with 2 late nights, a great excuse to cross the road!
Happy Solstice! -Harriett
