Otis Holiday Open House

Thursday, December 6, 6 - 8pm
Please join us for a holiday wine and cheese on the first Thursday of December! We will also honor the artists whose work appears in Otis' Old Curiosity Shop this year (we have 2 dozen local artists represented!). In addition to this merriment, we'll have a drawing for free tickets to The Hobbit (we’re giving away ten pairs of passes for the preview screening on 12/11 at 7pm Cinemark Valley View). Good stuff! Book Signing and Author Talk

Friday, December 7, 7:30-9:00pm, with an Author Talk at 8pm
Popular Cleveland chef and writer Michael Ruhlman will join us on Friday, December 7 to sign copies of his latest cookbooks, Salumi: The Craft of Italian Dry Curing and Ruhlman's Twenty: The Ideas and Techniques that Will Make You a Better Cook. You'll have two chances to get your book signed: once before Ruhlman's talk, and once after, so you can make dinner plans at one of Larchmere's many fine establishments accordingly. (However, rumor has it that Ruhlman will serve up a big pot of Lemon-Cumin Dal, so you might want to save some room.)

Joining Gene’s Jazz Hot this month will be Kevin Richards, on guitar. Rounding out the group is Gene Epstein on upright Bass, Reed Simon on Violin, and Bill Kenney on clarinet. Bring your dancing shoes, or at least a toe-tapping winter boot. Always a rollicking good time with good people -- and free cookies.
